It was really nice to see such a turn out for the East Coast Music Awards. Although I didn't have a chance to see the awards gala, I did get an oppertunity to see some other shows and I must say, wow! The venues were double that of the Annual Harvest Jazz and Blues Festival, but the energy and atmosphere were right up there with: undescribable and pheonominal. I was soo pleased to see an old college mate of mine Jessica Raye on the line up, so cutos to you Jay Ray!!! One thing inparticular though did strike me as odd, This was the first non televised ECMA Awards Cermony, I havent had much time to delv into the nitty gritty but, why on earth would the brodcast station not want to televise such a Canadian prestegious event like this one???
If not for lucridive reasons then at least for archival purposes. The city spent soo time much making this happen and not one once of film has been allocated the this event, how obsered is that???
