What Is Professionalism?

Well, I think that in education there is a lot of skill training happening. An uncountable amount of things such as patience, curriculum, organization, structure, and yes I do believe that professionalism is amongst them. Professionalism can be and represent many things, and in different contexts, the meanings can change.

Here are a few words that speak of professionalism to me:

Verbal Communication- expressing your ideas clearly and confidently in speech
Flexibility - adapting successfully to changing situations and environments
Attitudes, Skills, Behaviours, Attributes, Values, Being punctual, Quick Learner, Trustworthy, Reliable, Works well under pressure, Easy to get along with others, Good work ethics, Has good morals, Honest, Efficient, Polite, Prompt, Likes taking on new challenges and the satisfaction you get from achieving results, Organisational skills, Motivation, Willingness to learn, Exceed all goals and deadlines, Work effectively, Passionate, Work well with others within a team environment, Willing to learn, Hardworking, Helpful, Friendly, Team player,
Work well under pressure, Positive, Delivering good customer service,
With a sense of enthusiasm, Not mixing-up your personal thoughts with official duties
Honesty and Integrity, Respect, Accountability , Compassion and Empathy, confidence, Can make tough decisions, Dedication and Self-improvement
Persuasion - able to convince others, to discuss and reach agreement
Leadership - able to motivate and direct others, team building is imperative
Investigating, analysing, and problem solving, Computing skills-Word-processing skills, Using databases, Using spreadsheets, Using the Internet and email, Designing web pages and Programming skills, Exceptional communication skills (listening, speaking and writing, Personal and career planning skills
Above all, being Responsible for what you can do and what you cannot do is Professionalism
