Threats in the Technology World Today
Two types of business threats are: #1 Surveillance: The invasion of one privacy and the fine line that it lies on. E.G.: A video in a department store changing room. Should they be allowed??. # 2 The Use of Business Related Information: Collecting the information from a transaction slip, or computer site, to tailor the solicitation of more business for that one consumer, based on their buying patterns. Should the government be allowed to assume they know what we want?? Would their suggestion sub-cautiously affect our decisions on what to buy?? I fear, personally, more of the government surveillances and the idea of spying on citizens. Mainly because it is happening in real time. It's not the same as leaving a trail of where you have been through paper, it is where and what you are doing right now. 'Caught red handed', footage generated from a powerful satelite able to zone in on you're exact location and has x-ray capabilities able to se right through the walls of a house!- If this type of technology is not yet available, then it is only a matter of time before it is.
