HOW DO I FEEL ABOUT SELLING ONES NATIVE SOUL

Its funny, u know, I had no problem with the particular article that I had read, in fact through out the entire read I found myself saying, this is great!, someone is striving to preserve the culture, and they are able to be financially secure while doing so. Although it is not stated in the particular article I had read, once I found out these people were not of native decent, I became a little offended. First of all these people, if they had any morals at all, would not pose as something they are not. It completely baffles me how these people could, in good conscientious, take monetary compensation for the things they do knowing damn well it’s all a lie!!! Who are these people? At what point are we in this day and age, when people sell there soul to live under a false pretense, mislead every one whom are close to them, all their business contacts, its all a big fat lie!!!! Do they have a good concept? , yes, are they starting something that could in fact be truthful and pure, yes. Are they considered good people for the work they do, no not in my opinion. Everything they stand for has positivity busting at the seams, but the fact that they are fake and are dishonest, makes the whole thing worthless. The irony is the one thing they are teaching is the one thing they are not even practicing themselves!! Now, as mentioned earlier, there is some good from which we can learn. Here is a list of pros and con’s noted in such a situation:

Pro- spreading native awareness

Con- lying

Pro- everyone listens and is engaged

Con-falsification of a culture when non natives come into play

Pro-a cumulative process, outsiders exposed to a culture not other wise exposed

Con-otherwise it would be a debate process

Pro- Creating alternative ways to communicate

Con- capitalizing for profit

Pro-stress listening skill carefully thus more wisely making decisions

Con- Winners and losers are determined. Decision makers are not affected by the decisions they are making, therefore, results in inconsiderate decisions
