MAKING MY SPACE MORE PROFESSIONAL

Well until I was told to change my blog, I thought it was great. I loved the previous template I used, and the colors, it truly spoke to my character. I was asked to make my blog a little more professional, so I logged on, and what do you know, it really did need a revamping. It will really surprise one to see how much of a difference changing the template can make! It made all the difference in the world. My previous template was fun a whimsical, like myself, but to portray a more serious Sally, I opted for a more liner approach. I also chose colors that reflected me, but of course were also legible. In addition to changing the template, I also added a logo, endorsing the BlogSpot name. I rearrange the elements of the blog, also the layout of the template itself. I chose to include a greeting to any and all potential readers. I created a drop down menu as opposed to a hierarchy, simply because now it’s not so crowed on the page any more, the number one design theory is “less is more”. I also offered any potential readers the opportunity to become a follower of mine, perhaps if they should stumble upon my blog or be referred to my blog, and are moved by the readings, then they have the option to follow or tag my blog for easy accessibility. I did however opt for the same photo, and this is because I feel that image is already quite professional in a sense of my appearance in the photo, and this really resembles how I want to present myself to the world. All and all I am pleased with the changes I have made. I hope these changes will help to draw in more readers to the mypalsal site, and any comments or suggestions that anyone may have please feel free to share.
